Hair Donor Benefits

– Hair donor program participants will receive free welcome gifts consisting of a shampoo and a conditioner (Pantene or similar).

– Hair donor program participants will receive AHA credits upon timely submission of progress reports. 

– AHA credits can be used later only in the program to request more hair care products including shampoos, conditioners, treatments, hair bands, headbands and more upon availability. Available items will be announced.

– AHA may host casual happy hours for local hair donors at a local restaurant, school area or a park.

– AHA will give out free AHA goods including T-shirts, Hats, Bags, Mugs, and/or Tumblers based on the progress of hair donation and upon availability. For instance, all hair donors who have finished hair donation will receive “I donated hair” T-shirts. 

AHA Hair Donor Program Rules

1. Hair donors must report the progress of hair growth and the status of hair quality every two months or at dates designated by the program, using the online form prepared by AHA. The online form requires uploading a photo of your hair. 1 to 7 days late submission will be considered as “Late,” 8 or more days late submission will be considered as a rule violation, and the support will be terminated. Three late submissions in a calendar year will be considered as a rule violation, and the support will be terminated. 
2. Hair donors shall not abuse this program by applying with multiple accounts in the same household, by falsely report the status, by delaying hair donation on purpose, or by any other abusive ways.
3. When hair donors finish hair donation, they must report it to the AHA hair donor program manager. They are welcome to reapply for the program. 
4. Former rule violators shall not rejoin the program, unless their excuses are accepted by the AHA board.
5. AHA never receives hair directly from the donor. It is donor’s responsibility to send their hair to donation reception organizations.
6. Any attempts, whether intentional or unintentional, to use AHA hair donor support program for any business, religious, or political purpose will be forbidden unless approved by AHA board of directors.    
7. AHA shall not have any liability for any accidents that might have happened while hair donors are participating in AHA hair donor support program.
8. Any arrest, any crime, any conviction will be considered as a serious violation
